Do you use real test questions to prepare your students?

Yes. For the ACT I focus both on questions from the free ACT practice tests as well as prior real ACT tests. For the SAT I focus on the free SAT practice tests. (Prior actual SAT tests are not available to the public.)

Is your test prep personalized?

Absolutely. I work with your student to recognize his or her weaknesses and work on strengthening those areas. I find the most effective way for your student to work towards his or her goal.

how much preparation do i need?

That depends on your goal. I recommend meeting at least 10-12 times before the first test. Obtaining a higher score requires sustained work. I assign homework. Your student will have difficulty improving his or her score unless they complete the assigned homework. Obtaining a higher score involves repeated work, drilling, and deep dives into the material. In addition, I often work with students over multiple test dates.
