Our mission at Weathervane Prep is simple: give students the skills, strategies, and confidence to excel as they transition from high school into the world at large.

We take our role as a test prep coach seriously. We excel in our ability to communicate with students and parents, give our students a sense of hope, and work to boost our students’ confidence. We know they are capable of reaching their goals. We also know this is an investment for both the parents and the students, and we continuously work with your student to create the best learning environment possible.

What sets Weathervane Prep apart from other tutoring programs is that we work as both a tutor and a coach. We help build concrete skills and strategies that the student can then utilize on the test and in their academic setting. We build confidence within our students, show respect for our students, and teach them to not only achieve goals on the college prep tests but in the classroom and in life.

Weathervane Prep focuses on individualized attention for the student. We meet in one-on-one sessions, semi-private sessions, and small group sessions. Bigger is not always better.

Welcome to Weathervane Prep!

I am a licensed teacher who decided to start one-on-one tutoring and test prep coaching about 10 years ago. I feel like I’m doing the work I was meant to do. I look forward to working with my students every single day. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing their faces when they recognize their abilities. Building confidence within each student is a big part of what I do - and what brings me great joy.
